Veteran’s Services

Welcome

If you served in the U.S. military or are a spouse of a veteran, you can qualify for Priority of Service. This includes priority referrals to jobs and other employment and training services over non-veteran applicants with the same qualifications. Services include job search assistance, workshops, resume assistance, labor market information, career counseling, and referrals among other resources.

We are grateful for your service and our goal is to provide you with the maximum level of employment and training opportunities. Please identify yourself as a veteran or spouse of a veteran at your local WorkSource center upon seeking any services.

HIRE Veterans Medallion Program

The HIRE Veterans Medallion Program lets those hanging up their uniforms to enter the civilian employment marketplace know which companies are committed to and supports those who have served.

Those who are leaving military service, and those that have already exited, can access the HIRES website to see who in their local area supports Veteran hires.

  - Off-Base Transition Training (OBTT) Off-Base Transition Training (OBTT) website. The Off-Base Transition Training (OBTT) pilot program is an opportunity earned through service for veterans, veterans currently serving in the National Guard and Reserve, and their spouses to take control of their careers through workshops to help meet their employment goals.
